Research interests:
Control and analysis of stability and confinement of tokamak plasmas

• Extensive experience and solid record in leading-edge research of complex nonlinear open systems such as thermo-nuclear plasma devices where many physical processes interact on various spatial and time scales
• Able to work in a fast paced, time-sensitive environment of large-scale national and international multi-institutional projects such as US Scientific Discovery through Advanced Computing (SciDAC) projects:

  • CEMM - Center for Extended MHD Modeling SciDAC project
• Obtained experience as science coordinator by serving as a group leader on Fusion Simulation Project preparation team on whole device modeling
• Experienced in analyzing complex systems and operations. Highly experienced in conducting mathematical analysis, and computerized numerical studies. Areas of expertise include:
